FAQs
when and where?

how do i RSVP?
click the link at the top of this page.
what do i do if i’m not in new york?
get out here. i don’t do big birthday parties, i didn’t have a graduation feast, i’m not getting married anytime soon. this is the event i want my friends and family to make time for. I promise it will be worth it.
can i stay with you?
no. i don’t even have an apartment yet and when i get one, it will not be big enough for all of you.
how should i get there?
from dc and boston the amtrak will be best if you book before the new year. after that, it’ll get expensive and you’re better off driving or taking a bus. anywhere else in new england, there are daily flights from worcester and burlington airports. from california, washington, minnesota, or nebraska (or any other place you’re coming from really), flying into laguardia or jfk airport will put you on the right side of the river.
where should i stay?
it’s a slow time of the year, so new york will be cold and hotels will be cheap. sublets and rentals are bountiful, but to be clear, you don’t have to stay anywhere. take a bus/train/plane saturday morning or afternoon, dance the night away, and head home at dawn.
in all seriousness, i know it’s not easy to get out here, but would really love it if you came. please reach out to me if you have trouble finding or affording a place to crash and I can see if I can work something out for you.
